Closure Wig VS Frontal Wig?

Remember this ,The difference between a closure and a frontal is that a closure is SIZE. A  standard lace closure 4"x 4" and a standard frontal is 13"x4". A frontal has lace across the entire hairline, while a closure only has lace 4" inch wide parting space in each direction. Below is an example of a lace closure and lace frontal.

You will need 6 measurements to get a custom wig made and receive the perfect fit. All custom units are made using the measurements provided. You will need a tap measure. The measurements you will need is 1. Circumference. 2. Front to Nape. 3. Ear to Ear (forehead) 4. Ear to Ear (over top) 5.Temple to Temple. 6. Nape of neck as shown below

Should I get a closure or frontal wig?

If you are new to lace, never worn a frontal, or simply low maintenance, you should purchase a closure wig. All closure units are glueless and very low maintenance. If you want to be able to pull all of your hair off of your face, part your hair in multiple ways, but are not ready for a frontal you can go with a larger size closure (5x5 or 6x6). If you don't mind maintenance ( adjusting baby hair, using mousse, and elastic band, you should go with a frontal wig.

Don't want to deal with or nervous about lace ? No problem !

Opt in for a U-Part wig.

A u-part wig is basically what it sounds like.It is like the cross between a partial sew-in and a lace wig. A U-part wig is essentially a wig with a small hole at the top or side of the wig in the shape of a U. It allows you to leave out a part of your hair to blend with the wig.

You can blend and manipulate your leave out over the top of your wig or attach a closure, leaving you with a hairstyle that looks as if it is growing out of your scalp!

Benefits ?

  •  More affordable & cost effective
  • complete access to your hair any time
  • No lace involved !

How long do wigs last?

Wigs has a life expectancy of 6 months-3 years. The determining factors of how long your wig last is based on maintenance (how well you take care of it), how often it is worn, and if you process (color) the hair. You can extend the life of custom units by replacing the lace (frontal/closure). The lace will get old before the actual hair.
